Sergio Marchionne’s Day Off and the Ferrari F150

Ferris Bueller is famous for taking a day off to sit back, gain some perspective, and enjoy life. He’s been immortalized by popular culture for his care-free nonchalance and devil-may-care attitude. But Ferris’ irreverence wasn’t the only star of the movie, there was also the small matter of the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT with which he co-starred.

And speaking of Ferraris and Days Off, let’s take a peek at Ferrari’s new Formula 1 car for the 2011 season. It was just revealed today and it’s called the F150 in recognition of the best selling vehicle in the entire world, the Ford F-150. Or it could be named after the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unity, it’s tough to say.
